In the next few days we're going to send out an E-mail  to all the members the of OTG whether they be old or new, past or present, so as well as getting the message yourselves, hopefully we'll also see a few more faces too.
Its basically an attempt at rallying the troops but also to wish the best of the season to one and all.

Hi All from Sue (darkbrowneggs)  Seems a long time since I was on the Herefordshire Worcestershire borders keeping chickens and running a huge garden.  Time takes its toll on what we are physically capable of doing - hence my decision to sell up and travel

So far I have visited many parts of England Scotland and Wales (not made it to Ireland yet but its on the agenda for 2016)

Currently I am in Limousin and heading south with the intention of Toulouse, Narbonne, Barcelona etc through to Andalusia and then in the spring off to Morocco.

I lost my lovely old Great Dane Phoebe, who some of you met, but now (stupidly) have a six month old puppy from the same lines who tires me out every day, but is great company

Happy Christmas one and all and a terrific New Year as well

Sue xx

Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas and great 2016.
The last 6 months have been very hard and just hoping next year can only be better.
I have lost my entire way of life after tackling a car thief at the farm where I kept my pony.
Now I have no pony, he has gone back to the people who bred him, car was written off and I am still having physio, will not be able to horses again and I have had to rely on family and friends to take me about.
Very hard when you have had horses and ponies for 50 years and suddenly it is all taken away from you.
But roll on next year and the very best to one and all.

That's awful news but at the same time, I'm happy to hear from you. I just hope that things will improve and that life will be on the up from here on in.

I agree with Bodger, awful news especially at this time of year.
Look on the bright side though.
My Mum used to say, "There's always someone else somewhere that is worse off than you."
