This is a pic of the calf born to the cow we bought off Danndans.
She was a bit slow coming into milk but ok now.
We bought a bag of milk substitute to help the little calf along and my wife is out of bed at the crack of dawn to feed it on a bottle but I an sure it is now for her needs not the calf !

I bet you have plenty of room for a dexter too Stu !
I'm sure that dans would have the right one for you.
There are colours to choose, dun, red, black but not brown
Whch is a shame, because it would rhyme with South Down. _________________ A friendly family based countryside forum.

funny you should say that...........
but my mate at work breeds them- and he has a Heifer for sale- in black- the Sire is Might mouse (that always makes me laugh such a great name for a Bull)
But I think I would be given my marching orders if I tried to sneak one in just yet.... _________________ And there shall in that time be rumours of things going astray, and there will be a great confusion as to where things really are, and nobody will really know where lieth those little things with the sort of raffia-work base, that has an attachment. |
