This is a pic of the calf born to the cow we bought off  Danndans.
She was a bit slow coming into milk but ok now.
We bought a bag of milk substitute to help the little calf along and my wife is out of bed at the crack of dawn to feed it on a bottle but I an sure it is now for her needs not the calf !

I'm sure that dans would have the right one for you.
There are colours to choose, dun, red,black but not brown
Whch is a shame, because it would rhyme with South Down.

Isobel my black dexter and Cara the dun are due to calf soon, Joe said that Caras udder was springing, but I shall go and check later just to be sure, so 2 calves due in the next 2 weeks.

but my mate at work breeds them- and he has a Heifer for sale- in black- the Sire is Might mouse (that always makes me laugh such a great name for a Bull)

But I think I would be given my marching orders if I tried to sneak one in just yet....
