Went to Llanberis yesterday afternoon to see the finish of Stage 4 of the Tour of Britain.
Must say it was very well organised - well done to Gwynedd Council (I don't often say that!!) and the race organisers. Masses of people there, but they'd got the car parking well sorted, with shuttle buses taking people the short distance into the centre of what really is a very small town.
I was really lucky and got a spot at the finish, near the big screen and right opposite the podium, so I saw the exciting finish with Mark Cavendish taking the stage and the presentations afterwards.

Just a couple of pictures:

Mark Cavendish

Bradley Wiggins

They are finishing on Datmoor. The DSRT (Ashburton) are the chosen charity for running the park and ride and for being 'on the spot'  at the tor.

Should be a good day.

Super photos.

Get down there if you can - there's plenty going on for the hour or so you're waiting - lots of freebies for the kids too.

Not on your nelly! I feel safer on a horse than a bike!    Watching them hurtling down the last descent before the finish, on the big screen, we were all saying how frightening it is to even DRIVE down there!
