Kaz Thats not what I would call cutting the grass - where is the lawn mower? I have to say it really is a heavenly smell of summer - unfortunately where I live it means the intrusive din of a petrol mower rolleyes.gif |

the one smell that really typifies summer for me, is the smell of chamomile........ _________________ www.goat-for-it.co.uk |

Nothing beats the smell of hay making in the field.....
My Dad cut one of his fields last Monday (a week ago) and got half it in yesterday and the rest today. Its not bad stuff either, much better than he was expecting... |

Not even this?
Cut grass, hot tarmac and in the morning after heavy rain. _________________ Still at the Bar, still on me own, still moaning and still a miserable Old Git.

Ha yes - memories of mother and hayfever. Funny lady - married a farmer who made hay whilst knowing that it was the hay that set off the hayfever. :-? The red eyes and nose matched the auburn hair at this time of the year. :-? _________________ Good with a spade, better with a cup of tea |
