We've been successfully pickling our quail eggs in white vinegar with a couple of Scotch Bonnet Chillies and some black pepper corns thrown into the jar for good measure for sometime now and they've proven to be delicious. I've also been harbouring thoughts of doing the same with some of our duck eggs and I've come up with this rather useful website which as given me some brilliant ideas.

https://freebleed.com/2013/06/11/how-to-make-pickled-duck-eggs-part-1/

I've arranged to pick up another dozen young laying ducks to join our existing flock, so this is definitely an idea that I'm going have a go at.

Am I strange?  I have never come across quail eggs, pickled or not.  And have never eaten a duck egg in my life.  Pickled or not.

I wonder what they tastle like?

Am I missing something delumptious?

Duck eggs are the best no matter which way they are eaten. Can't be beaten, no pun intended, can't wait to ours start laying again yum
