If you go down into the woods today. it'll probably be safer than using our shower block.
We've had some vistors !
A rat. or some rats have come up from the sewers and gnawed through the plastic sleeve at the back of the toilet bowl.
I've been in touch with Welsh Water, who are responsible for the sewers and its unwanted residents and they'll be turning out on Wednesday. In the meantime. I've lifted up the man hole covers and baited with some wax blocks of rat poison and in addition, I've also set two rat traps in the shower block.
Or... it could have been a rat that got itself stuck on a sticky pad and jumped out of the bin when I chucked it in - and latched itself onto my finger.
Ever tried to get a rat to let go when its teeth are sunk into you and will not let go?
Oh, and after you had smashed it on the stone sink top until it was deaded, there was a problem in getting an ambulance [I knew I needed a tetanus shot] because the bdooly gates to the Moshav were closed?
