I don't know about you but if I lived in the right area and they'd have me, then I'd sign up for something like this straight away. I don't live to far away from the island of Anglesey and what they've done there for the red squirrel is fantastic. There's not supposed to be so much as one grey squirrel left on the island and the reds are now being seen across the Menai Straits back on the mainland. They must have to be constantly on their guard though, if the reds can go one way, then surely the greys can go the other way.

We're squirrel watchers, nothing formal, it kind of goes with the territory.

We have a Ranger too who pops in every now and then. He left us a trap a couple of years ago because we had seen a grey but it never came back.

No he looks after east of Penrith, called John.

Also has a game Farm and a gamekeeper on 2 shoots.
