Karen and I visited Llangollen today, where I rediscovered a second hand book shop that I haven't been to in over ten years.
I bought this book for two quid, half its marked price.

Not much to tell from the faded cover, so lets delve a little deeper.

This is the same Henry Williamson who wrote one of my favourite books 'Tarka the Otter'.

It had an interesting, if not slightly soppy dedication on the inside cover. Blimey 1944 !

I've always had an interest in early 20th and late 19th century agriculture and I'm looking forward to getting stuck in and reading it.
