In a brave attempt to broaden my outlook on life and to get a different slant on things, this week has seen me stump up the cash for an annual subscription to Private Eye. I feel as though I've got to do something other than swallow the' tow the line stuff'  we tend to get on the BBC News. I've been really dismayed at the heavy bias shown during the recent referendum.
I'll let you know how I get on.

The BBC reporting has really gone downhill over the last few years. Gone is the impartiality it was famous for and instead we have bias and sensationalism. It's still better than Fox news but only just

Son2's been buying/reading it since he was about seventeen. We regularly (well, every six months or so) clear out the backlog.

If anyone wants them, let me know ?

The first copy of my subscription popped through the letterbox this morning. It's a shame that I've got a load of creosoting to do today but I'm look forward to a read this evening.
