The gorse in our fields, of which we seem to have lots, seems to be in bloom all year around but at this time of the year, it gets a real flush of new vibrant colour as the as the spring flowers come through.
Not when I'm being prickled of course but I love gorse, not just for its visual appearance but the coco nutty scent that it gives off, especially after its been raining.
Incidentally, right now I reckon I'm in the only place in the UK where it's absolutely piddling down. No change there then?
