I've been on about investing in a new fox trap for years I've been making do with my old home made one for ages but I think the time has finally come when I need to put my hand in my pocket. What do you think about this trap?

Sliding door needs to be a bit more weighty , so it comes down with a fast Bang and not get fouled up.

Its a bit short for my liking, treadle too near the back, to place bait in front of it .

With a bit of mode on the door should be ok

Not the best but ok

That's my view anyway lol

I've gone through the Bethelrhodes website and it seems that the pro trap is made by the trapman. The price is way more than I want to fork out.

My son Tom is promising to make me one Bry. I already have the angle iron and he has a welding machine. Any chance of posting some specs?
