Aldi Heads Up: 500ml Lager in Fliptop bottles: Das Helle's @ 5%ABV 1.69 per bottle and it tastes good too.

But the best thing about it is the 500ml flip top beer bottle (that will take pressure) that this Lager comes in, so they are suitable for bottling home-brew.

Here in Norwich I can not buy the empty flip top beer bottles from the home-brew or kitchenware shops for less than 1.99 each: and then there's no beer in them

Oh! It was a doddle to remove the original label and wash the remaining glue off.

Yes, I have enjoyed drinking the beer ......... I now have another dozen bottles suitable for home brew................ I wasn't too much keen on the hang-overs the following morning though.....lol
