Its stunning but this time of year its best to go on a week day if you can. It turns into a giant carpark in the Autumn with the walks busier than Oxford Street at Christmas :smt103

This I found out for my self today :smt103 It appears that everyone thought the same thing "The seasonal walk" was as you described , we took the borders, and spent most of our time answering questions about them, poor dog ran out of urine after about 25 trees :: ::

Its a little treasure if you're not too far away. 8 or 9 per visit is expensive, but only 33 for the year (64 for a couple). The hounds love it and their work on squirrel patrol is great to see. Also late admission means you have the Silk wood almost to yourself; golden sunset, orange and red trees and the owls hooting. Fab.
