Hi, I'm Malc. Been around here for a while but not posted before. I have been laid up with a broken leg for 2 months so I've just started hobbling about trying to catch up with all the jobs that are overdue.
We live on a smallholding, keep chickens, ducks, and a goose. Fatten a few rare breed pigs from time to time.
I make wine, beer and cyder, have a small (30 tree) orchard and a vinyard (150) vines, like cooking and love baking sourdough bread.
Look forward to chatting to you.

Hi and    Malc, I'm sure you will fit in very well on OTG.
Should have introduced yourself a couple of months back, when you first injured yourself...

 all the same

Malc, it sounds as though you and I share quite a few common interests
One of the things that I'd love to hear about is your vineyard. I watched 'Escape to the Continent' last night and the couple were looking to move to the Moselle region of Germany. in the programme they visited a 7 acre co operative growing grapes on the steep banks leading up from the river. That really rocked my boat.
