Happened across your forum and liked the look of it, I rarely join such things...usually happy to just watch from the edges but this time it seemed to strike a chord so I thought I would dip a toe

I'm part of a community farm and also have an allotment  (recently acquired after a 4 year wait).

I like sustainability, hate waste. Like making things. Hoping to learn lots and possibly contribute too.

Hello

hi there.

Im a born recycler too.

So far this year we have acquired over 4 tonnes of waste wood, and kept ourselves cosy for a fraction of the cost.  Okay our yard looks a tad unslightly with pallets covered in wood, logs and builders wood waste, but Im saving over £500 on buying in wood.

Im still trying to get my rainwater flushing loo organised.  Ive had the waterbutts for months and months, but we have been so busy.
