When you're ferreting for rabbits, you set a net over each hole before you put the ferret in to scare the rabbits out. The rabbits run into the nets and the nets purse up just like the old draw string purses of old.

Don't forget, this is the women who can knit not just one sock but a pair of socks at the same time while we're driving.   I thought that I'd better add that I do the driving and she does the knitting.

They have ferrets in the USA but they're kept as pets. In a country where hunting is such a big thing, its illegal to hunt rabbits with ferrets. Strange.
