Gd morning
Ive just incubated 42 of these (was 48 6 candled clear)on day 18 they where removed from the incy 37.5 at 44 % into the hatcher. Only 15 have managed to get out and its now day24 37 deg 60%  I have opened a couple of eggs yesterday both fully formed eggs full of liquid and chicks dead.
Any Ideas. Im about to throw the eggs out today.

unfortunately it could be lots of reasons - we usually have good hatch rates - though did struggle with  one when I used fairly elderly eggs - it was noticable that that was these older eggs that failed to pip.
Generally people believe that darker eggs - with their extra pigment layer are harder to hatch from than white or pale eggs.  It has been suggested different humidity is needed for darker welsummer eggs elsewhere on this forum- for example.- Maybe Sue from DBE has some thoughts on this?

Hi thanks
Unfortunately I am collecting for someone already - and don't have many girls in with the cockerel right now, so don't have any hatching eggs going at the mo

I do have some pullets that are 8 weeks old - blue, splash and black (- and cockerels too),  - if you are interested pm me
