So from today, I will not be taking my dogs out over our farm, or or the horses out on the trails     The usual hunters and the ones who know what they are doing, are fine, but we will get ye ha's up from the city's who come to get drunk and "hunt" ( which sometimes consists of anything  they can shoot out of their rental truck window....grrr  Why do these few make it so bad.

Dave will be out hunting all week, but just on our place, as will most of the  hunters around here...roll on next week, when the worst of them will be gone.    Rant over.....sigh.

I was over in the States with flatiron on the first day of the season and I don't blame you. It sounded as though the battle of the Alamo was going on everywhere. This total novice did bag a whitetail though, when all the experts blanked.

But, could you have got it from the window of a moving, rented pick-up?
