we started out in our kitchen in 2005 making 4 flavours of our products

we now work from a shop producing up to 20 flavours

this year we are having a go at a 35 day christmas market in manchester

even though we now make thousands of jars/bottles a year they are still made in small batches traditionally good quaility preserves

all our range are gluten and wheat free suitable for vegatarians and vegans

we won 1st place for best chutney ,pickle or ,mustard in the north west last year for our

sweet and spicey mango chutney and got 2nd with our spiced apple chutney

there's loads more info at our website www.parkerspreserves.co.uk

thanks for reading this post

please say hello if you see us at any events

cheers brian

Its nice to see you here Brian.
You certainly qualify as a food  hero. You don't need an award to prove it either.
Its nice to put a face with a name as well.

Hi Brian - nice to see you here

Brian and I started up at just about the same time and first met at a River Cottage meet - where I first bought some of his preserves - the sweet and sour I think it was Brian...since then we have bartered by post every now and gain.  Definitely one of my food heroes xx

Hi Brian - nice to see you here.  I believe we've met in cyber space before - can't recall which forum it was but it will have been a foodie one
