In 1989 a ginger cat turned up in the garden and our children started to feed him on crisps!!!. We couldnt find out where he'd come from or who he belonged to so we adopted him... personally I think he chose us!!!
The kids called him Eric and he was with us for 11 years and became a much loved member of our family. He was so gentle and obviously used to children. He eventually contracted feline aids and after many tears we decided to have him put out of his misery. We've had other cats but none as nice as Eric.
