Bloody nasty little cabbage whites munching my cauli, purple sprouting and brussells! _________________ Remember to lower your undercarriage when coming in to land. Same rule applies on getting off your bar stool! |

And the b'stard starlings trashing my cherries!!!!!!!!!!!
I wouldn't mind if the damned things ate a whole one, but they just take a beakfull out of each one and leave them wounded to go off! _________________ Remember to lower your undercarriage when coming in to land. Same rule applies on getting off your bar stool! |

They are terrors aren't they. Lost my entire crop of brassicas a few years ago; we went away for a week leaving a friend in charge... who didn't think they would do any harm!! Came back to a plot full of stalks. _________________ Sue

Horticultural fleece most good garden centres sell it from the roll, I get enough to go across the row plus a metre which keeps the blighters out. _________________ What you give in wishes you receive 7 fold .

OK Mrs Sx....... I've got to ask..... OH?
Put me out of my misery please..... XXXXXXXX
I know I'm getting to the wrong end of my forties and I am not going to ask my offspring as it will show I'm old and fuddled, as previous posts on other topics will show (see pictures of favourite horses forum) it took a while for me to figure out what PMSL meant!
Otherwise, all I have in my head is: "Oh, Oh yes... Oh, Oh God yes...." _________________ Remember to lower your undercarriage when coming in to land. Same rule applies on getting off your bar stool! |

OK, Now I've been an Aviator pretty much all my life and tend to respect and be supportive of fellow aviators in thier actions, but this overwhelming and unprovoked attack by the Cabbage White Massed Kamikazi Squadrons on my exposed tender young innocent vegetables is unwarranted and clearly shows the "Pearl Harbour" campaign attitude of the Insect Empire.
Be warned, evil will not prevail, and I sought a UN resolution to defend ourselves and our vegetable alliance, at all costs and with all means at our disposal!
