Fancy sharing the recipe Freckle - never made doughnuts! _________________ Real smallholders wear out rather than burn out; rusting away is negotiable. |

me neither but would love to - was it difficult? share the recipe?...just making some jam - would be strawberry though as well as some black currant jelly - so might be an ideal filling? _________________ www.hiddenvalleypigs.co.uk

No new fangled machines for me-not even a deep fat fryer!! Made the dough, one rise, then knead a bit more and make doughnuts and fill with jam, another rise, then deep fried in oil for 5 mins max then roll in sugar!!
Will get the recipe on in a bit.....needless to say they have all gone! |
