I know what you mean about that one bpotts, mine went through a stage of buggering right off when he caught the rabbit and coming back when he was good and ready. which was a pain in the backside for me. as there is no way i am running after a whippet in full sprint
I tried him in our local graveyard for a couple of weeks where it is walled in and plenty of rabbits for him to chase and i can still keep an eye on him and he is coming good now.
He still has his little play with the rabbit but is now begining to drop the rabbit for me. When he does bring it back i reward and praise him plenty Next time out for him is a 5 acre field, i will let you know how he gets on. |
