Today was the day, our two new saddleback gilts are collected. No problems loading when we collected or drove home.

Getting back it was a rather tight fit at the gate to their paddock but with a bit of shuffling we managed.

trailer gate lowered & they were fast asleep - last pic

Soon up though

with a little persuasion -de-bussing!!

and then despite never having seen grass before, straight into eating.

Reminds me of our very first pigs. Saddlebacks are super pigs.

I have to say I've never ever seen a Land Rover and trailer as clean as that.

My Landie needs a good deep cleanse inside and out !! but the trailers are always 100% inside and out.

The Landies 20 years old, the trailer I bought last year for 200 and re-built it, I reckon it's 1980's. All our kit gets used & abused but it all gets looked after too.

Does that go for you, Rick - and Carol too?

I admit that Mrs. Y.G.is showing some signs of wear and tear.
