I thought I'd share this one with you. Having just emptied my mum and dads old house, I can understand why the son shed a tear.

But if the wallet had been sealed behind a bathroom wall 65 years ago, and it contained the wedding picture that had not been seen in 12 years, it does not make sense.

Does it?

Juli, there may have been many copies of the wedding photo maybe held by different relatives.
His son may have seen that photograph 12 years prior to finding the wallet.
Maybe some other answer, but that would be logical.

I'd go for that Martyn. I must say that it didn't particularly strike me as being wrong for the photo not to have been seen and the report doesn't actually say that its the wedding photo.

I presumed a wedding, Bodger, because the way they dressed in the snap didn't seem funeral or birthday wear to me.

It did actually say it was a wedding picture but of course they probably had more copies made.

~“The one thing that really hit me was the wedding picture, because I hadn’t seen it in 12 years,” Weber told CBS Philadelphia, holding back tears.~
