It is the bag we had one that always tried to sleep in a paper bag or a box

Our old cat was the same - especially with cardboard boxes.  She'd get settled in one and if you touched it, the claws would flirt up over the top and have you!

Yep - loads of comfy cat beds around the house, that I've paid good money for, yet the two of them fight over the fruit basket

Hmmmm but when they keep the Rat/  mouse population around the farm down to zero i think its a fair trade off  
Oh and i do cook the potatoes above 100 deg therfore killing any bugs etc.

fair point. but theyre not my cup of tea. walking about in shit and piss then lying on your bannanas or potatoes etc.

I am not a cat person either but I have to admire them. They are very ornamental and terrific  hunters but too hard on the wildlife here for me to tolerate them.
