We monitor the boxes once a month - the sites that we check are part of the Dormouse box monitoring program and the results get sent to the PTES Peoples trust for endangered species.

Poultry Boy-my little girl has a Brownie project to do on Dormice-she says she has a full year to do it but I'm not so sure....! Any bits or pics of info you have that could help-she is only 7 though!!  Am I right in thinking we haven't any chance of seeing them up here in East Yorks?

Yet another interesting result that makes me wonder if certain native species are actually on the decline or just moving in the effort to avoid our interference?

I'm still very interested in dormice and this little article gives me hope that we may very well have some locally. I still haven't seen one though.

I wish  I had.

This doesn't make for good reading. It looks as though my chances of seeing a dormice aren't improving.
