You've got to love ebay!!

We have spend a fair bit of money lately (cough!) and have a self inflicted (or should that be dug?!) hole to get ourselves out of (and the house still has lots to go!). So I have had a huge ebay weekend and listed over 50 items with plenty more to go!! If everything just gets the lowest opening bid which most of the things have we should rake in over 3000!!
OK so the bulk of that is a caravan which we have sold-just had the payment through by BACS so its a done deal. The thing I'm so pleased about is we were offered 800 and then 1000 for it from two seperate dealers who told us they don't sell (it is a dry caravan-no plumbing), they need to do x amount of work on it etc etc. We just needed rid of it and didn't really want to advertise as this type of caravan are popular with people found in spots like Dale Farm!! But I took a gamble, pitched it high and have sold it to a very nice electrician to house some of his team while they work on a year long job up this way! And managed to get 300 more than the price I would've been happy with! Yeah!   Whatever some people say-I think ebay is FAB!! (and now we can pay OUR electrician with the poceeds!!!)

we are in the middle of de clutering most of which ends up on ebay we have been surprised at the bids for what seems like junk but the bank balance is healthy and we still have loads more to go on.

I know-but there seems to be a use for everything!! We have the old village hall piano in our shed which has already been raided for parts but apparently I  can cut the strings out and sell as fishing wires?! Then of course the weight of the iron middle for scrap.... Of the course the problem we have is I won't throw anything anyway as it all have a use or value....but its finding the time to process it all!!
