Thanks Kaz.

I still love the one of Gareth, I'd love to see it on the Calender so I could make up different stories about this man and his dog every day for a month

(you knew I was nuts or you wouldn't have let me in here   )

You've definately seen his better side Mo.

That picture of yours of reflections really takes some getting your head around at first glance.

Over the next 3 or 4 weeks i will be looking to choose and gather the images in frorm the ones posted on here for the first few months,so let's see some more before then and for those of you who have then remember to keep them on your hard drives!!

And just to remind one and all,the format that we are only able to use for the calender is images(doesnt matter what they of of) taken in the 'Landscape' style format like below:

And NOT in the 'Portrait' style like below

Winter in our backyard

There are some fabulous photos there - Well done

Sadly my camera is only 3.0 megapixels, but I thought I'd show you this one one anyway. I haven't altered the colours in any way - this is really what the frosty leaves looked like!

I like that Wilder

I like that image wilder there is nothing wrong with that...and its not about mega-pixels unless you are printing poster size prints,a good eye is what counts!!...Henri cartier Bresson shunned technology in the past and people like David Bailey from the present do now

I agree with what you say, rustyboy, and I have always managed fine with my 'old' camera, but the 3.0 mp means that the photo can't be considered for the calendar because it is only 1984 x 1488 and 655kb, so I guess the resolution isn't high enough for the printers

That is a great image.

Keep the file at the size you mentioned,we might be able to do something with it...not sure but its worth a try
Wilder

Aww, thank you rustyboy.   I need to get a new camera soon as the battery cover on mine won't close properly and the 'fix it with a screw' idea is starting to give way too!  I wish I could do the lottery over here, though, as funds are limited.
