OMG my terriers have turned turkish!! (now all in front of the log burner happy!!!) useless. Dont even think they deserve to be called terriers anymore!!! Defo dont think any of them want to return to the UK any time soon!!!

Not Turkey, but we are not too far away in Crete, and it is down to 6C today. There is snow on the high hills and, with a northerly wind, it is b.....y freezing. Everyone who comes to live here takes about a year to acclimatise (the newbies are those wearing shorts at Christmas), and this includes dogs. Ebony adjusted very well to the summer heat, despite being an extremely hairy GSD, and by our second winter he put on his winter coat as usual, and then shed in the spring.
