Who's nicked the mint sauce.

Busy couple of hours, this morning. I cut up two lambs for the freezer.

Rightly or wrongly I cut them up very much the same way as I do with roe deer, seems to work well. I now have lamb chops 1 1/2" thick.

The larger of the two weighed in at 17.3kg and the other was a little smaller and weighed in at 15.8kg. I'm quite pleased with the result as they are grass lambs, and have not been fed any lamb pellets what's so ever.

They were cut up, bagged and in the freezer, 1hour and 43mins. I cut up and the missus packed.

After taking the meat off the necks the bones were cut into 6 pieces and given to the dogs, took them all of 10-15 minutes to devour.

Loin.

Finished product.

Thanks for all the positive comments.

The missus does an excellent homemade mint jelly and her red current jelly is not bad either.
