Who's letting them out Wednesday?

Well mine are going out Wednesday, fingers crossed nothing changes.

Who else's birds will be free at last?

No change here they will all still be in lock down. Having said that they are all laying well and seem more than happy.

Mine will be out tomorrow morning but the food and water will be inside except of course, the pond puddles etc that the wild birds will of course have no access to!

Well I'm truly sick of them being in.
My stables and barn are full of dam horses ha
So they have been stuck in enclosed runs which even though there covered end up a mud bath.
Keep putting fresh shavings down but it's been a loosing battle in this wet weather.

Hate seeing them with dirty feet.

The edge of the local high risk zone is only about 250 metres away from us, so we are keeping our 14 birds under cover for the time being....... I have two 6m X 3 marquees with open steel mesh sides & ends erected over the pen ......... it was just a bit twitchy in last weeks storm

I was talking to a friend this morning she is just on the edge of the high risk zone, she is leaving hers in too. She said she hasn't kept them in all this time to risk them now, which is understandable.

I've got to fill one of these in today.

Well.... our tarp covers came off after they were ripped in high winds, all that flapping was scaring the hens. Still got some netting cover up but it ain't great.

There's a high risk zone quite close to us and we have the beck which attracts ducks each year, not to mention the birds of prey and all the pheasants about.

It's all as muddy as hell regardless of what we put down. But I think I'll keep them penned and smarten up the netting.
