You are right of course

We have self seeded chives coming up all over the place so they are featuring in lots of meals. The flowers are so prolific amongst the bits that I want that I have to just cut a bunch of chives and seperate out the flowers - they are too pretty to throw away.

You can pop the little individual florettes off the head and eat them too

They really are nice in a salad, or a scattering like torn basil leaves through pasta or on top of pizza just before serving.

Mine aren't in flower yet, but the chives look enormous this year.

I dry as many as I can and use them in many different dishes over the next year until the next big harvest yummmmmm

Hey Mo!!!! Great to see you again!!!!!!! Have missed seeing you on here

How ya been?!

I know! Took me getting a new dehydrator to think about drying those lovely flowers... Now we enjoy them every year through the winter. You'll have to tell if you like them dried.
