Theres a coon in that tree and a dog TOO!

The morning traing run w/ the Mt. Curs ended w/ Fudd and Tinker treeing a coon up a huge leaning tree . Tinker who thinks she's part cat was 25ft. off the ground and getting as close to the coon as she could get .

After much pleading I was able to call her down

I'm working Fudd into shape for a big hunt in April , 15 hours away in the State of Tennesee.

Flatiron, do you run the coons with staghounds/luchers?

I have a friend over the pond who does and catches many with them.

The staghounds and lurchers are used here now for coyotes -----more in the mid west to western states . My dogs are Mountain Curs .
