Temporary Events Licence.

I've just recieved a letter today informing me that my application for a Temporary Events Licence has been granted. It means that I'll be selling my cider from our place on the 27th, 28th and 29th of this month.
Its great news but at the same time its left me feeling rather awe struck. Its what I've been working towards all this time, so why should I be feeling so chicken?

Big move, need to be like that rooster you got there

No need to be chicken, just don't get too cocky!
Well done!

Phone your local radio station and see if they'll do a phone interview with you to advertise it - they are always looking for local interest stories....

Also, pen a bit for the local paper with a photo....

I'm going to apply for another two now. The last one will be the Bank Holiday August. I'll go for the Friday through to the Monday.

Oh yes I wholeheartedly agree with that.

It was the Norwich Evening News who approached me when I first started Cargo Cycles 2 years ago, and that full colour page coverage in the paper lead to further articles in the East Anglian Daily Times, Daily Telegraph, Sunday Observer, the Japanese Times, and also newspapers in Portland Oregon and Okinawa. These lead onto interviews on BBC radio Norfolk, Future Radio and appearances on BBC Look East evening news, and (ITV) Anglia Today news. Which then lead onto to a 55 minute long documentary for Channel Four regarding new UK businesses for a greener Britain; although that series was never screened. All of them proved to be excellent wide audience free advertising for me.

You just never know what copy is exchanged between journalists look for page filling stories.
