Sunset, Moonrise in our neighbourhood

We've been having some amazing sunsets lately.... This is one of my favorite views at such times. (From an evening walk I took a few days ago.)

Eta-sorry, it looks a bit photoshopped to me....it wasn't, just off my phone camera.

Great pic thanks- I read Lewis and Clark and pictured Klamath Falls to be a steep valley not open as in the pic

It actually depends on where one is at. The original pioneers came up over the ridge that is just above highway 97 and main Street. That ridge is very steep! There are many hills also in the same area that have many homes on them.... I prefer not to drive up those hills and have no idea (even after almost 40 years) how folks get up them in the snow season!

Klamath is really very much like a 'bowl'. We live in the wide open area basically known as part of the agricultural 'basin', just south of town by about 20 minutes.

Thanks Rena got a better idea now.

looks like spring

Weirdly enough, it feels like spring... to human, animal and plant. Way, way too early.... will be watching with interest as the season unfolds.

Thank you 12B.

Although, I must add.... I have no idea how it happened... only thing I can think of is I had a hard time seeing the viewer with the sun shining on it from over my shoulder, so... I had tilted it a bit....

I agree with 12Bore, it's a stunning shot.

A good photograph, I have found, depends on the good fortune of the photographer.
I got a Canon 70D DSLR for Christmas '14 and have taken some 4,500 photos with it so far.
About 40 or 50 of them are what I would call good.

All due to good fortune and luck.
