Stick Insects

Doodle bought her big brother Tom a couple of stick insects for Xmas last year. They grew very quickly but one died a couple of months ago

When we saw Tom at the weekend he had just changed the bramble/food and found the tank full of tiny baby stick insects less than a centimetre long

It looks as though Dodle wil be getting some stick insects back again :biglol:.

Do you watch Brainiacs?  They did a man vs beast test to see if a man could disappear more than a stick insect, beast won I think

I ended up with the stick insects well, 5 of them.

They are a doddle to keep but when I change the branches it takes me forever to make sure that I've still got 5 in the tank and not throw them out with the branches

I don't know how many Tom has still got left oh.gif

They keep breeding and breeding and breeding and breeding! You will have hundreds this time next year.

When my Husband was a boy he released his 8 stick insects in the house, his Mum was still finding them on the house plants a year later!
