SSE phone and broadband

They've got a VERY good deal on at the moment.

21 per month inc VAT for the whole lot including calls and line rental.

Is anyone with them? I'm tempted to switch.

Nobody then.......

I've never heard of them before

That might be handy for when we move house later this year if the offer is still running

The offer's on till November and it's an 18 month fixed price deal. Mixed reviews on t'interweb but anything's got to be better than the abysmal speed I'm getting now on normal broadband. (the offer is for superfast fibre broadband). Think I'll give it a go

Is the move on then Kaz?
welshboy

is there a special grant to get fast broadband in Wales ?

That's interesting Welshboy.

I was surprised to find that just here I WILL be able to get fibre broadband, although I'm not sure how far it's got along the peninsula. Not all options are available though as BT are picky over who they allow space to.  I tried TalkTalk and they said they couldn't do it.

All I want is to be able to use my smart TV!  The only time the current speed is up to it is in the dead of night.

I think you can get it via wireless- at least I know someone who has it like that beamed in from a mast. You have to prove low speed but I think if you move away from the router you can prove low speed easily.

We're with them for gas and electric (as they are predominately hydro-power) and we also have solar panels, fitted last year.

Didn't realise they did BB as well, will go and investigate...

We have got super fast fibre optic broadband here in Morfa Nefyn - they must have missed you on the way doen the Peninsula

It's running at 26 Mbps atm.

Actually I think it's more like I wasn't paying attention....     I treat all modern technology with a 'need to know' philosophy.  If it don't need fixin' I ignore it.
