Some recent shots

The sun was shining this morning and Mrs YG had some shopping to do.
Armed with my camera I decided to take advantage.

These birds were on offer, reasonably priced, but were not on Mrs YG's shopping list.

Anyone fancy a chicken and alpaca roast?

Rena

Did Mrs. YG decide to try the Alpaca/chicken roast?? (the pheasant didn't strike my fancy either )

This morning it's been Pimply Sissing down here in Devon.

Here is a shot through our window :-

It's changed now and the sun is coming out.

Rena

Never knew how much of a photo aid raindrops could be! Cool pic

Nice pics, out of interest what did you pay for the Pheasants

I will let you answer first before I tell you what I get from the game dealer after our shoot days
Yorkshire Geordie

Dave, they were on sale for 4.50 a brace on the feather or 7.00 a brace oven ready.

Mrs YG just bought only what she went for - some spuds, brussels and a parsnip.

Dave C

The beaters get first chance of a brace, then the guns and what is left goes to the game dealer.

We get 30p a Pheasant, 50p a Duck, Partridge, Snipe & Woodcock.
It's not much but it goes into a pot for feed next season.

Here are some more of my recent shots.

This is another view of the trees I particularly like.
It's a composite shot made of three photos - I may have posted this shot before.

From another location - my favourite trees.

Yellow never comes out well, but these dafs are OK

A cheeky blackbird looking for crumbs at the local Otter Mill cafe.

A contender for an "Over the Gate" view?

Here's another.......

A view of Sundown at Exmouth - looking westward over the River Exe.

Once again

I love that view towards Powderham. Many years ago I lived in Teignmouth and worked in Exeter, and we used to take the scenic route to work, through Dawlish and then up towards Exminster. A beautiful part of the world.
Yorkshire Geordie

You will know Cockwood then, I'll bet.

This is a view from Exmouth - the tide must be out here.

This unusual sun/cloud formation was too good to miss, from the same location looking over River Exe towards the Powderham area.

This shot is over the River Exe from Exmouth too............

The rocks are a feature called The Parson and Clerk with Shag Rock further out in the sea. Teignmouth can be seen as white buildings on the left.

Brought back lots of memories there!
