So for us thickies does this mean all your electric has been generated by the PV panels in July?

Yes & in June as well (apart from one day when I needed the compressor for some work on for most of the day so topped up with the genny). With luck so will all of August's as well.

The first thing to do is reduce your usage as much as possible. Its cheap & saves you the most. We are now using 1/10th of what we did in the house.

The average of 2.94 kwh (units) per day is just over our normal usage of 2.5 kwh / day. Add in a few extra items like power tools & the inverter & charging losses & it all adds up nicely.
