Socks

These are a selection of the socks that I have knitted over the last couple of years - these are some of Bodgers and the collection doesn't include the ones that I keep the members of the family supplied with

This ongoing project is a 'sock wool blanket' where i use up the leftover bits of 4 ply sock wool - as you can see, there are a lot of different colours there.

Grandma Bodger

Got to admit that I have been on the receiving end of Kaz socks I wouldnt be without them

That's great Kaz!

I really like the idea for left over pieces and how the blanket is looking!

I envy you the ability to finish two socks    I really stuggle with finishing the second one    They look great and the blanket is really inspirational    a great talking point with guessing whose wearing that wool

I used to suffer from SSD (second sock symdrome) where iInever used to want to knit the 2nd once I had finished the first  so (with the help of youtube) I taught myself to knit 2 socks at a time, toe up on magic loop needles so now the socks are identical and more importantly, both finished at the same time

One of the partners at work (she is a chemical patent attorney in fact, but in her real life a knitter), put a pattern on Ravelry for a pair which you knit in one go, toe to top and just carry on top to toe again, and then cut in half   I've not tried it but it works for her!
colour it green

I love the sock blankie  I'm making one too - mine is a mitred square one - I enjoy that so much it makes me want to make the second sock so i can have the spare yarn for my blankie!
