Seed exchange

Inspite of the rock hard frost that most of us have woken up to this morning, it will soon be planting time. Like most of you, invariably when I plant seeds, there are too many seeds in the packet and they don't all get used. For the cost of a stamp, these surplus seeds could be passed onto a fellow OTG er, What do you think? A useful idea ?
Perhaps a thread on one of the gardening sections?

heavily into growing chillis - am I too late?  could reciprocate by sending some scotch bonnet and some jalapino seeds at the end of the season?

Now this is off topic but not if you know what I mean....we have some grey face dartmoor x ewes and if anyone wanted a newly sheared fleece (muck and all although no dirty bums ) in June I would happily post them on for the cost of postage...greyface are a long staple fleece - around 5 - 6 inches, silky and ideally suited to textiles, felt making etc...as I said, free to good (or any) home.

I will put some Peach Habenaro in the post for you Debbie - you should still be able to get a crop this year.  Our plants are still going from last year and are already fruiting

Not exactly making ends meet but if you want to get away from EU Approved Tasteless Veg, you could try:

And grow the good old fashioned, tasty vegetables which us "more mature" folks can still remember.

No... I'll post them as soon as you PM me an address to do so...

Why not try a seed box?

It goes from one person to the next, they take some seeds and add some to the box and they pass it onto the next person.

It's been working really well on an NZ forum, in fact it's been going on for a few years now.
