Sounds like you had a brill time BC

I bet the audience spanned a wide age range too?  You can't beat the classics.  There aint many around these days that could hold an audience like some of the older ones

Cheers Mrs WW , when we got back to the car, at about 23.00hrs it was still 21.0c .............s great day out

Never been to see the great man live (to my shame) but used to live in a village not far from his home village in my teens so would quite often see him around in the local shops.  Really friendly and down to earth man

Glad you had a fab time.  I've always liked his music, but, as you say, not the bloke himself!
Border

Glad you had a great time.

I personally would never go to any of his concerts or buy any of his records or the beatles for that matter as McCartney is very anti field sports and that also includes fishing, he and his late wife funded some of the filthy unwashed protest actions in the 70's 80's.

So he will recieve no support from me.

Sometimes you have to appreciate that folk just love music and chill

When I used to "see him around" it wasn't for his music or his beliefs at that time but for what a polite and down to earth gentleman he was.

I too love music, but I also love my field sports.

I dislike some things other poeple do, but I would not pay people to go and disrupt other past times.

Live and let live thats me, if you don't agree then agree to disagree.

Folk will only disrupt what you do if you let them, we don't. Nowt has changed here with us, saw him last night, out with the dogs and rifle this morning, if you feed the media machine they will win so just do your own thing.
Paul McCartney does his thing.........apparently
