SconesWhen we lived in england we spent a lot of time in north yorkshire and were introduced to the best ever scones I have ever tasted. I have read lots of books and studied the internet but nowhere have I located the secret recipe for those scones. They were short, sugary, deep and fruity.
We found them at the ryedale show near kirby mooreside on the friends of st. greory's minster stall. Has anyone an idea what the recipe could be?
