Satisfying

Very satisfying, yesterday dug up this bed, Charlotte potatoes, one sack full.
given I had already dug out two bucket fulls, a really good crop considering the size of the bed.
After removing said spuds, deep dug it over three times and finally planted out 54 leeks. A bit late granted, but why waste them? As with a load of various brassicas. They were in the G/H, with all the events of late, I'm once again playing catch up. So now the bed is full again and what will be will be.

As I said satisfying days work...

It's a great feeling isn't it? I've missed growing stuff this year.

Positive thinking Horace...they maybe late...but I always stay positive...

Well sir, most of my leeks went in late where the peas came out. They may only be finger leeks later on but they will be leeks. Better small ones than no ones eh?
