Running the Mountain Curs tonight (pics)

The hunting season opens next weekend but we are allowed to train the dogs as long as the coon aren't killed . Heres my 6 month old Mountain Cur pup  Flatiron Tinker and the old bucket mouth Flatiron Fudd .

The dogs treed 7 times last night , I wouldn't have stayed out so long BUT I forgot my compass and was in a huge wood ---------------i was confused ofr about an hour !

Down your neck of the woods, doesn't that usually mean that they are about to capture the perpetrator.

Yes, sometimes it does.  Funny you should say that cause just last month some hoodlooms were stealing some stuff around and the police just never could catch them.  The thieves made the mistake of stealing one guys four wheeler and he and some of his friends set the hounds out after them.  After a few miles the hounds led them to the thieves and they did a citizens arrest.  When the police got there one thief was tied to a fence and the other was tied to a tree and all the stolen goods were recovered.
