Reindeer

Can anybody tell me what to feed to reindeer kept as pets.  The alpacas eat pony food.
I know that reindeer will eat both birch and willow, but I need some advice
on an all round feed to give them all the goodnes they need.  Thanks. Mrs Bouquet

What's the appeal of keeping reindeer Mrs B?
Mrs Bouquet

There are 96 acres to  be used up, the alpacas have about 6 acres, divided into 2 fields, which is going to be built up to provide them with little mountains.  The reindeer can be very tame and can go into the woods.  Have also been considering bactrian camel.  Mrs Bouquet.

We have considered the large birds, but they are not very friendly, and can be very scary.  Also the vets don't know so much about them. Thanks though for your input.

I said the alpacas eat pony food, my mistake, I was watching the ponies in the field.  They actually have goat food.

Thanks to you all for your ideas, I will try to get some pics for tomorrow.
