Red sky at night.......Just returned from a couple of days at Dartmouth in Devon's South Hams neck of the woods.
Biscuit, Mrs. YG and I had cause to visit one or two National Trust places in the process.
Coleton Fishacre is just outside Kingswear and is a beautiful representation of an Arts and Crafts style house, the architect was Oswald Milne - a former assistant of Edwin Lutyens.
The house was originally the home of Rupert D'Oyly Carte of G&S fame.
This is the entrance ...............
At Dartmouth there was this unfortunate French fishing boat that decided to lay down in the River Dart after a rough crossing.......
We were scheduled to pay a visit to Agatha Christie's house, Greenway, on our return home today.
Unfortunately Mrs YG must have eaten something that didn't agree with her and we therefore decided to return directly home instead.
Getting home without too much mishap she decided to dive stright into bed and take Gaviscon, aspirin and stuff.
She'd eaten nothing since breakfast and still not much better by evening, so I decided to visit the chemist to see if anything could be found.
On the way there, getting dusk, I was driving westward into this :-
Suitably armed with a powerful potion I returned and did my doctor impression.
Here's hoping it works.
