Rats

I read somewhere about mixing plaster of paris with corn for killing rats without using poison. Anyone tried this?
bodger

No but I've heard of it.
Slipster

never used it but basically you mix the corn in with dry powder, roland eats it and powder sets in rolands intestine. lots of people use this method on another forum with great success

It was used in a similar way to control sparrows.

I have used flour, baking Soda and sugar as rat, mouse poison with good sucess.

I spent Sunday afternoon digging up a rats nest with two of my terriers, that certainly worked!

So would you just mix this together and pop it into their holes then? Just wondered how it works
We have seen rat/mice holes appearing in the boundaries of the chicken run and wondered best way to control them

(sorry to jump in on this thread)
