Portuguese Fish StewOne large onion, finely chopped
3/4 cloves garlic, crushed (optional for those not partial to garlic)
2/3 carrots, small dice.
About 1 1/4lb spuds, smallish dice.
1lb fish cut into chunks
Tin chopped tomatoes
Tin chick peas
1/2 pint chicken stock
1/4 to 1/2 chilli powder
In the pressure cooker soften the onions for about 4 mins then add garlic and potatoes and carrots and continue, stirring frequently, for another couple of minutes or so. Add all the other ingredients and bring up to high pressure. Cook at high pressure for 5 mins and then let pressure reduce naturally. Serve with crusty bread.
